Covid-19 Updates
when will you reopen?
Based on what we have heard from the Government and from Industry Regulatory Bodies we are in preparation to hopefully reopen 4th July 2020. (officially announced on 23/6/20)
Here at Claxton we have been busy making sure that the salon is safe for staff and clients and taking every possible precaution to minimise the spread of the infection.
We will be booking appointments with people who are on our waitlist first, so if you have already joined and not yet heard from us please expect a phone call very soon.
how do I book an appointment?
If you would like to be added to our waiting list for an appointment then please join our wait list and we will be in touch when we have a fixed opening date to confirm a day, time and stylist available.
Kindly note that appointments will be on a first come basis, and we thank you in advance for understanding that as we are unable to open at our usual capacity and safely comply with 2m social distancing rules your preferred date for an appointment may not be available.
what safety measures will be in place?
Each client and stylist will be segregated within a station that is a minimum of 2 metres from the next operating station. All stations will be cleaned prior, during and after each client as required.
Their will be anti-bac hand gel available for staff and client to use at each station as often as they need to.
Clients will only be in close/direct contact with the stylist they are booked in with throughout their appointment, i.e. your cut, colour, hair wash any treatments and payment will only be administered by one person throughout your appointment.
All staff will wear disposable PPE, including mask, gloves and apron which will be replaced before contact with each client. We will also be providing disposal PPE for each client to wear during your appointment, which we kindly ask you to wear throughout your appointment.
We will continue to assess safety needs on a daily basis and adjust accordingly.
when should I arrive for my appointment?
We kindly ask that you arrive no more than 5 minutes before the start of your appointment time and as close the actual time as possible. There will be no waiting area in operation for people arriving early and you may be asked to wait outside if the stylist can not seat you at their station.
If a stylist for any reason is running late for your appointment we will endeavour to contact via telephone to make you aware. Please ensure you leave up to date contact details with us at the time of booking your appointment.
what other changes should I expect?
These are unprecedented times and we are of course working to make your experience with us as relaxed and enjoyable as usual. We welcome your feedback and are more than happy to make reasonable adjustments on request throughout your appointment that would enhance your experience with us at the time.
Little things that will also be changing for the time being.
